Haley is from Rex Putnam High School. Haley is an artist and so I wanted to do a special image that was artistic and captured her point in life. This image draws inspiration from one of my favorite digital artist, Brooke Shaden. Brooke’s use of color toning and fantasy imagery is some of the best I have seen. I borrowed some of her technique to create this image of Haley.
My photography skills are often sought after by models wanting to improve or add to their portfolios or book as the professional models call it. Models only need the highest quality photography to demonstrate their look and skill. So I feel privileged when I’m asked by models to do photos for their portfolio.
Nicole Erber is an international model that I had to privilege of working with this past year. The list of her accomplishments is impressive. She has worked with some of the finest photographers in the business so when she wanted to work with me I was pleased to do some images for her portfolio.
I hope you enjoy the photos.
This month I had time to pull out some older images that I had done in previous photo sessions. I thought I’d spice things up a bit and revitalize these images. I used a variety of techniques I have been working on to give them a new look and feel.
Body Building combined with a fire fighter. Sounds like an awesome opportunity for interesting photos to me. So while I was at Mt Shasta I lined up a session with Erica who has won overall and best in her class in two recent competitions. She competed this year in Florida and placed well for her first National competition. She is a determined woman and I think she will continue to excel in this sport.
While I was in the City of Mt Shasta to photograph some senior portraits my brother, Eric, asked me to photograph the City fire fighters for their display board. Eric is the Deputy Chief of the City fire department there. They wanted some standard photos with the flag background for consistency so that is how I made the images. These were done all at different times and different locations since you can never get all of the people in a group at the same time. Even two of the fire fighters in the group photo were shot later that evening and photoshopped into the image since they arrived after the main group was photographed.
Mt Shasta is a great place. There are some great opportunities for photographing nice people. Angie is a fairly new fire fighter at the City Fire Department. She has also done some clothes modeling. So I did some model portfolio shots for her as well as some shots with her in her fire gear. She has a great look and photographed well. She has the ability to give a pose and an expression very well for someone new to modeling.
